Jonathan Caplan, MBA

PRESIDENT & FOUNDER

Jonathan’s passion for investment management began during a summer internship at a boutique investment advisory practice. After graduating from Yeshiva University, he embarked on a career on Wall Street while pursuing an MBA at New York University’s Stern School of Business. Following a successful career on Wall Street as an executive at major investment banks, Jonathan’s entrepreneurial spirit led him to launch his own independent investment management firm. He has been successfully using his broad skill set gained on Wall Street and graduate school to become a portfolio strategist and risk manager serving high-net-worth clients on Main Street.

Jonathan’s satisfaction in growing a successful business over the past 25+ years is only matched by the satisfaction he derives from the deep client relationships he has built. He takes pride in having successfully guided clients through challenging market cycles.

Outside of work, Jonathan has been a committed member and leader in the local community. He has been an officer, board member and advisor to many local nonprofit organizations. Through Caplan Capital’s “Living Charitably” initiative, he has organized a number of meaningful and successful campaigns.

Jonathan is a long-term resident of Edison, New Jersey, with his wife, Lori. He has raised four children and is now a proud grandfather of nine.
