Joseph Caplan

FINANCIAL ADVISOR, PORTFOLIO MANAGER

Joseph joined Caplan Capital Management in 2020 to enhance the financial planning and investment management services offered by the firm.

Prior to joining the firm, Joseph worked in finance and real estate for eight years with exposure to different fields such as equity research, economic analysis and underwriting investment opportunities in the real estate industry. Most recently, he was a director of acquisitions for a real estate development company that invested in different asset classes, including self-storage, multi-family, warehouse/logistics and retail.

Given his real estate background, Joseph focuses on specialized financial services to address the unique needs of real estate professionals.

Joseph graduated from Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics. He currently resides in Teaneck, New Jersey, with his wife, Emily, and two children.
